The Abundance Foundation is partnering with the Valention Achek Deng (VAD) Foundation to support the construction of Marial Bai, the only secondary school in South Sudan.  The Abundance Foundation provided funds to construct a deep water well system to provide both safe drinking water and water for the School’s farm to ensure a sustainable food source for its students.  VAD works with war-affected populations in the post-conflict zone of South Sudan to increase access to quality secondary education, increase girls’ enrollment and secondary school, improve teacher-training, create community education facilities and promote literacy.
